Hi everyone, this is Jessica. I’m creating this GoFundMe for my twin brother, Jason. Just a few weeks ago, Jason went into the ER with a what was thought to be a pulled muscle. They found a mass on his spine which turned out to be leukemia. It’s a rare and aggressive form of cancer, and he’s facing a tough road ahead with treatment already started.

Jason is a devoted father, brother, and friend. Right now, he should be focusing on healing—but instead, he’s worrying about how he’s going to keep the lights on and food on the table. He doesn’t have short-term disability, which means no income while he undergoes treatment. And with school starting back up, the holidays not far off, and growing kids to feed, the timing couldn’t be harder.

We don’t know how long treatment will last—at least a month, maybe longer. What we do know is that Jason and his family shouldn’t have to carry this burden alone. These funds will go directly to covering groceries, bills, school supplies, and basic household needs so his family can stay afloat while he focuses on the fight of his life.
