Julio Aparacio had a fall from a 2-story platform while working on a roof on November 13, 2019. He is a husband to Dora Valenzuela and father to Juan Carlos Aparicio-Valenzuela. From the fall he landed on his back, broke it, was airlifted to Christiana and received emergency surgery. He is thankful to be alive and hopeful that he will walk again.  The family is doing their best to get by, he is not able to work and Dora has had to become his full-time caregiver at the present moment.  Juan Carlos works fulltime and goes to school. They have medical bills coming in, along with rent,  utilities,  etc... They are staying positive and working hard daily to build their life again after this difficult tragedy. Staying grateful to be alive and staying positive to be able to walk again has been their main focus.  Living in a community with so much support has also been amazing.
