Celebrate with me !
A year ago today, I experienced a life-altering surgery that left me with a “new normal." Learning how to walk with a prosthetic leg has been one of the greatest challenges, yet I have not given up. I have been in physical therapy since March, and I'm proud to report that I’ve made amazing progress with the assistance of 2 dedicated physical therapists who have helped me along the way. With their help, I have gone from a wheelchair to using a walker, then a rollator.
The next transition, I am aiming to be able to walk using just a cane. By the grace of God, eventually, I hope to be walking without needing assistance at all.
Needless to say, there is still more work to be done. Your contributions are still needed to assist with everyday needs. I’m still not receiving any income and would greatly appreciate your donations in any form that you can.
It has been a rough year. Yes, I have my moments where I feel down and out, but with an amazing support system from family, friends, and my medical team, I feel I can accomplish anything.
Thank you for all the love, visits, phone calls, monetary donations, and prayers.❤️

Hello, my name is Latoya and I need your help. I have been battling cardiovascular disease and diabetes for many years now. In September 2023, I had to have my left leg amputated above the knee due to blood flow/circulation complications. I have been blessed to receive a prosthetic, however, I am unable to work at this time.
I have worked in both the mental health field and home health field for twenty years, which requires physical assistance for my clients. I am unable to perform physical duties at this time. I am actively participating in weekly rehabilitation services and am proud to say I am getting stronger every day. However, that doesn't pay the bills.
Having said that, I need your help - your financial help. If you can donate, any amount to help me would be greatly appreciated. I am no longer receiving any income at this time and we all know, no matter what we go through, "THE BILLS DON'T STOP".
With this financial assistance, I hope to pay several bills in the coming six months, which will help me to better focus on rehabilitation and eventually getting back to full-time employment.
Additionally, for those who have supported me through this journey I thank you from the depths of my heart. I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers, visits, and words of encouragement. May God bless you is my prayer.
Sincerely,
