Monty, the bestest pup there is, has had a rough go at it.  First a hip replacement at just 3 years old and now two herniated discs that made him lose feeling in his rear left leg.  He's not even 7 yet :(

A couple months ago Monty jumped out of the truck like normal and 30 minutes later couldn't control his left rear leg.  It has been rough seeing him continue to be happy, but not be able to run, walk or even get up at times. 

So far we've been getting PT weekly, seen a few different vets and a neurologist just a couple days ago.  I finally pulled the trigger after x-rays didn't show much and got Monty an MRI.  He has a couple of herniated discs and some other degenerative issues.  We've tried just about everything but steroids so far, but it's looking grim.  

I am still crossing my fingers that steroids, continued physical therapy, and rest will help, but the neurologist isn't as optimistic and thinks that surgery may be our best bet.  

Unfortunately, I am not in the best position to just turn around and spend $10,000 like I did 4 years ago to replace his hip.  I am looking for any and all help I can get to make the Monster whole again!  I know he may never play fetch again, but just want him to be a happy go-lucky pup who can take some walks and have a better life.

Just PT, vet appointments and imagining have cost over $4,000 so far and the surgery will be another $6,000, plus PT afterwards.
