Help for the Conte family
Donation protected
Keenan Conte has been through 3 weeks of endless tests and scans and has now had the first of two surgeries. They found a urethral valve issue. Because of this, The Doctor said Keenan's bladder looks like the bladder of an 80 year old man because of all the stress it has been under. Their number one focus is now on Keenan's kidneys.
If his creatinine levels don’t go down with the catheter being in for the next two weeks, they’ll have to start looking and treating him for renal disease, which will more than likely lead to a kidney transplant.
Even if this surgery fixes the bladder issue, the valve issue that they fixed is so rare that it follows patients into adulthood, which could lead to a kidney transplant further down the road.
All of this is a huge shock and stress for the Conte family, especially around the holiday season.
As they make Keenan's recovery top priority, let's help ease the financial burden from hospital stays, surgeries and other medical care. Thank you for
anything you are able to give. Happy holidays.
