Hi everyone, my name is Aadhav Prabu and I’m fundraising for a FREE 10-Week 3D Printing Workshop Series to help spread STEM Education to students in grades 6-9 across the US. However, to make this vision a reality, I will need your help. Please donate whatever feels right to you. Every donation will go a long way to helping us.
Program Overview:
This workshop is a 10-week virtual series covering all the basics of 3D design and printing. It is offered entirely free of charge to students that wouldn’t have this opportunity otherwise and that is why we are asking for donations. 3D Printing is a large and growing field; this workshop will tremendously help open up students to careers in Engineering and Design. The workshops will take place every Saturday over Zoom. Every student’s designs will be printed and mailed individually to them.
Meet the Instructor:
Hello! My name is Aadhav Prabu and I will be the Head Instructor for this Workshop Series. I am the founder and director of the Maker Hub Club 3D Printing Division. I am currently a High School Student and I have been teaching 3D Printing for 2 years now. Along with Akshar Raikanti, Krishiv Haranath, and Adrian Gore, I am super excited to be teaching this semester-long workshop series to students all across the US!
Where does your money go?
Sponsored by the Maker Hub Club Initiative, so far, we have put our funding towards purchasing a 3D printer and respective tools and materials. But we still need more funding and that is where you come in. No donation is a small donation!
Specifically, the funding will go towards
- Purchasing various colors and types of 3D printer filament
- Covering the shipping costs of students models
- Purchasing prizes for a contest at the end of the series
- Other items that contribute to the overall quality of education that we provide
