We're joining forces with Makegood.Design and 3D-Mobility.org to make toddler mobility trainers (TMT) for children in the Treasure Valley. We're putting our hobby of 3D printing to good use for children in need.

Traditional pediatric mobility devices can cost $3,000-$15,000 and often have long wait times. Many insurance plans don't cover them for very young children. The TMT provides an affordable, customizable option that can be produced locally in weeks rather than months, giving children early access to mobility independence during critical developmental years. We'd love to buy maker kits at a discount but they are currently sold out!! A 3D printed mobility device is a fraction of the cost of traditional devices. Even without the discounted maker kits, one device has an average cost of $200-$250 when supplies are purchased at retail.

This is where we need the help! We have the printers, time, and motivation. Each device takes approximately 9 kg of PETG (a tougher, more heat-resistant material) filament, 2 kg TPU (a printable flexible material used for straps and comfort features) filament, and a hardware kit. That is what the $200 - $250 is purchasing. There are two little girls right here in the Treasure Valley that need us! We're asking for $500.00 to build the TMTs of these little princesses' dreams! Any donations not spent directly on materials for these devices will be donated to 3D-Mobility.org to fund more TMTs for other children.
