I am currently 3D printing ear savers for healthcare and other frontline workers at no cost to them. Ear savers are holders for n95 masks to keep the elastic from rubbing people's ears raw. Some healthcare people are wearing masks 8, 12, or even some ER nurses I've heard going 16 hours a day with the same mask on. It makes my ears hurt just thinking about it.
So, I am trying to help print as many of these as I can for people but my printer is an old 2015 model and really isn't fast or big enough to keep up. I'm looking to get a second 3D printer up and running so I can have both make ear savers, or anything else that could be useful like face masks or even ventilator parts.
Giving these out I've had some people ask for a way to donate, so I've set this up. There are definitely people in way more need so I won't be offended at all if this doesn't go anywhere. Please check on your neighbors, feed your community and try to look out for anyone in need.
