Help a Single Mom in Trouble

Hi!

A good friend of mine is in a very difficult situation. She is a single mom of five young children (ages 16 to 5 months) and she has been in an abusive relationship. Due to some unexpected events surrounding a protection order, she had 2 hours notice to leave her home, pack whatever she could and leave with her five children and her dog. She is receiving guidance from Women Helping Women, who helped her find a motel room for her and her children for the next 5 days. And After that, she's not sure what's going to happen in terms of housing and meals.

She works full time, her children are at three different schools, and she can barely make her bills. The relationship she was in was horribly toxic and she's trying to find a way to get back up on her feet and hire a lawyer so that she can move forward and put this relationship behind her.

Whatever you can do to help her would be tremendously appreciated. I am trying to protect her privacy, although she did give me permission to set up a GoFundMe for her. I can answer any specific questions or provide details through private message.
