Help for Ali

On June 11th, my father had an accident at work which resulted in a broken hip, 9 broken ribs, and a crushed pelvis. He was in the hospital for weeks and had a long and grueling surgery. He may no longer have 100% use of his right leg and foot and he will most likely not be able to return to work in his field, HVAC, which he loves so dearly. He will get workers comp but that will not cover his regular bills and expenses. He moved from Columbus, Ohio to Chicago for a better quality of life in November. My stepmother, Sakina, cannot work as she is now caring for him.  I would like to raise one year's salary to cushion the loss and give him the opportunity to change his career path to one that he is able to carry out in the future while he is recovering.

I know this is a hard time for everyone so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
