Trust me....NO ONE wants to have to do these things! *** UPDATE June 3, 2018 Name Disclosed Jen White, mother to Alora, Wife to Nick White! My Cousin Nick's wife, Jen, was recently diagnosed with HER2.  This is an aggressive form of breast cancer. Nick has suffered with MAJOR heart issues most of his life and has to work temp jobs to help pay the bills.  He was fired over a year ago for missing so much work with his own medical needs and procedures.  Nick will continue to have his own battle, bills, etc. Now to the reason for the campaign and plea for help! A few weeks back, Jen was confirmed to have breast cancer.  This week, end of May 2018,  it was confirmed that is was an aggressive one, HER2.   It has already spread to lymph nodes and a PET scan is being done this week to determine if it is anywhere else. Jen already has a $2k bill from testing, visits, etc.  just to find out the initial issue(s).  The "journey" will begin about June 11th when the  chemo starts.  The goal is to cause some shrinkage and then to do surgery, most likely a double. More bills will begin to rake in and it is projected she will be off work and Nick could temporarily be off work to be home as the primary caregiver. ***The icing on the cake is the sweet 2.5 year old daughter, Alora.  She is going to need additional care that they currently do not need to pay for with the family help that is local.  Nick and Jen has family in town but much of the family is not local and will need to pay to come to town to help and to provide more support in other avenues. As much as bills seems unknown and scary, the worry of having enough money for food and care, is a whole new added level of stress.  Jen lost her own mother around the same age as little Alora is now.  In the event we raise this money, and Nick is able to work and/or bills do not rake in as projected, the money will go into a trust for Alora since both parent's now have known illnesses that provides an even more unpredictable future.
