Tristen's Heart Surgery

My son Tristen has CPVT and is being tested for Long QT. Both of these are genetic heart conditions and both are life threating. CPVT and Long QT causes heart Arrhythmias that can cause Cardiac Arrset. Friday February 2nd. my son's doctor called us to come in for an appoitment, explanning that on his implanted heart monitor she is detecting these Arrhythmias, which sould not be happening because of the meds he is on. When a Cardiologist shows you a report of your childs heart arrhythmia and says this scares me, thats terrifying! So, she immediately told us she was in contact with Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and wanted us to go, ASAP! Mayo Clinic called me monday as I was being released from East Jefferson Hospital (i was admitted saturday early morning for kidney stones that are blocking my kidney from flushing, ended up having a procedure done before being released) to let me know Tristen's Surgery is scheduled for Feb. 14th Valentines day (his Birthday is on the 16th) and we needed to be there no later than monday Feb.12th. The day Mayo Clinic called, I was overwhelmed, I knew I couldn't do this in my own strenghth or on my own finances. I prayed for God to open up the flood gates and give me no limit of blessings. My God is bigger than my situation and no matter what happens, I will praise him. I am asking for anything you can give, big or small, every bit adds up. Oschner Organization has generously agreed to pay for our plane tickets, HUGE weight lifted off of our shoulder. Unfortunately, the Ronald Mcdonald house can not guarantee any opens when we are there and said they usually have a waiting list. Also, I am going to be out of work for that whole week, plus some.
