Globally, performing artists have been the group most severely hit by the pandemic. With absolutely no gigs since the lockdown began over a year ago, many artists have depleted their savings and are now in crisis. Your donations to this campaign will help 3canal to continue creating new works as well as opportunities for the many other creatives who they mentor and support in the community of Artists in Trinidad & Tobago.
3canal members Wendell Manwarren, Roger Roberts, and Stanton Kewley, have been in the Arts for 27 years making conscious music, creating performance events as well as their annual Jouvay Band, a parade in the streets of Port of Spain in the Trinidad Carnival. They mentor several artists, designers, dancers, actors, performers and creatives in their journey. Your generous donation will give immense financial and emotional support to continue the work.
