I’m Beth Kukucka, a writer, photographer and filmmaker. After a long and diverse career as a photographer that included work in such publications as Time Magazine and Rolling Stone, I have been devoting my time to my true passion, filmmaking.

Inspired by my mother's home movies as a child, I now combine vintage home movies with present day video to create short, inspirational films on life, love, and all things human and divine. My YouTube channel is Moving Word Films , where you’ll see such themes such as “Do You Wonder If You Matter”, “You Are Never Alone”, and “Right Now Someone Is Thinking of You”.

These chaotic uncertain times in the world can’t help but affect our inner world. So many of us feel afraid and alone, and I feel compelled to create these short films to remind us that this is a collective adventure we’re on, and that no one is alone. That we’re in this together and that there is a bigger picture to it all, with connecting threads and moving parts that we’re all a part of. Most of all, that it matters that we’re here.

I decided to create this crowdfunding campaign at this time in my 40 year creative journey to ask for support as I continue to create the short, weekly films that I post every week, without the distracting and time consuming burden of finding my audience and managing my marketing to find them.
