Chuck Catalfamo Memorial Fund

Chuck Catalfamo was born and raised in Hudson Falls, NY. He started working at the age of 9 and didn't stop until a couple of weeks before his death on January 20th, 2016, at the age of 70. In his honor we've created a Chuck Catalfamo Memorial Fund to provide opportunities and enhance programs for students in the Hudson Falls School District. The first project on the agenda is to build batting cages. Chuck was a standout athlete in Hudson Falls back in the 60's, receiving many awards and accolades. His love of baseball and softball is well known in his community through his decades of volunteerism as a coach, sponsor, and mentor. In addition to his love of sports, he was also an incredibly thoughtful, caring, and generous person. In addition to batting cages, funds will be used to assist school social workers in their work with students and families in need. Being that Chuck was such a presence in the Hudson Falls Community and especially around the baseball and softball diamonds, we would love to fullfill his wish of bringing batting cages to the teams. Also, Chuck has been contributing to families in the area for many years, and was a friend to all.
