Team Carter!

When my Nephew Carter (and my personal favorite person in the whole, wide world) was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on his abdomin at the age of one, we came together as a family and with strength, God's love, and a strong support system (you guys), he conquered cancer! After 14 rounds of Chemo therapy and multiple surgeries, we thought we had it beat. We just celebrated our one year cancer-free anniversary as we were fresh off a plane from SanDiego, on February 27th, 2016, for Carter's Make-A-Wish sponsored trip to the San Diego Zoo! However, Carter was beginning to feel a bit nauseous the few days before our trip and as we returned home, the symptoms continued. After a few trips to the Emergency Room, we went in for a body scan on Friday March, 18th, 2016. After being rushed into emergency surgery, we quickly discovered that God had a different plan in mind for us. It would seem that this is not over, as we'd hoped, and this time is vastly more critical and very different from last time. (At the family's request, that is all the detailed information they wish to share at this time, Updates are to follow) This will be the second time that my sister (Carter's single mother) will need to leave a job that she loves and put their lives on hold as we tackle this all over again. Please understand that if you are unable to donate that Prayers, blessings, and visitors at the hospital are just as appreciated. Any and all donations will be used to fund any unexpected medical expenses and anything else that Carter may need at this time. Carter has touched many lives in his short, 3 years with us. He's such a strong and brave little boy with a heart of Gold. My family thanks all of you for taking the time to read this and for any donations made possible by you. Thank You!!
