Our sweet Luna Belle had a serious accident early June that left her with a deep, open wound on the top of her head. Numerous vet visits led us to a confirmed diagnosis of right-sided brain trauma and severe infection. We completed her course of antibiotics, nursed her back to health, and finally saw her overall health improving. We thought we were in the clear, but unfortunately, these things can resurface in cases like hers. While it feels like we are back to square one, we are still incredibly hopeful that Luna can heal again with another course of antibiotics. If her condition does not improve in the next few days, we will need to bring her to a neurological specialist to determine the severity of her condition.

Unfortunately, Luna’s initial diagnosis took three separate vets to determine, including a full day of tests at an emergency clinic. We have no regrets investing in her health, but as new homeowners and parents of four other pets, we could use some help.
