Hi, my name is Jay. I’m a father doing everything I can to hold things together for my kids and our loyal dog, Hippolyta.

Life has hit us hard. I’ve been out of work for nearly 3 months, and despite applying to job after job, often roles I’m more than qualified for, the rejections, NO, keep coming. Our savings are gone, I supposed to pay child support which I cannot do, and the pressure is growing by the day. What weighs heaviest isn’t just my situation, it’s the fear of not being able to provide a stable home for my kids and Hippolyta, my dog, who has been our comfort through it all. Unlike some of my friends, I could not get unemployment, social security for injuries or any financial support.

Asking for help like this is humbling and difficult. However, I’m doing it for them. So far, I am grateful to those who did give & it has helped us in many ways. I just need a little support to keep a roof over our heads while I keep pushing forward with my job search. Every donation, big or small helps buy us more time, more hope, and a chance to breathe.
