Support Jerry Barstad’s Recovery

On Tuesday July 19, our dad (Jerry) was involved in a motor vehicle accident while riding his motorcycle. Though an oncoming car turned into his lane giving him very little time to respond, he survived the initial crash by the grace of God.

While his life has been spared, he is now facing a long road to recovery. Among other things, he sustained major head trauma, collapsed lungs, a broken clavicle, scapula, and multiple fractured ribs. At this time, he remains in very critical condition under the careful watch of those in the ICU. We are extremely thankful for all of them.

 

Our dad is a well-known and beloved fixture in the Stevensville community where he has worked as a mechanic in town for the last 43 years (JB Transmission). Even more than that, he has been an incredibly devoted husband, father, grandpa, (and recently great grandpa) and friend to so many.

 

He had a dream to work for two more years before retiring at 70 years old. As you can imagine that dream has been radically and drastically changed. 

While our immediate family is doing everything we can to support our father and mother, (Jerry and Sheri Barstad), we invite the financial support of any and all who would come alongside us during this devastating time of providing for immediate and ongoing needs.
