Hi, my name is Rexie, and I have created this GoFundMe to help my brother, 40y/o, who is in the Philippines and in need of an urgent surgery. I am here in NL, Canada, and this is the only thing I know to do to help him in this desperate time.

He was recently rushed to the hospital and needs an operation, but the hospital told us we will need a down payment before they start the operation.

On May 2nd, 2026, he was rushed to a hospital and we were told that he had a blood clot in his right brain.

He was then transferred to another hospital to receive proper care for his serious condition.

He is currently at the Philippine Heart Center where they did a CT scan yesterday, May 4th, and found that the blood clot has grown.

We were informed last night that he needs an emergency surgery, which costs 500,000 pesos ($11,000 + CAD).

In the Philippines, we do not have free medical care, and the hospital will not proceed with the operation until payment is made.

I am desperate and do not know where else to turn.

We don't have that amount of money to pay for his surgery, and his life depends on it.

We are pleading with anyone who sees this to help us save our brother. He has a 1-year-old daughter who needs him to live.

We believe in miracles and the kindness of people.
