Mr Kohinoor Banerji Medical Emergency and Expenses
The Oriya community of St. Louis, USA is writing this on behalf of Mr Kohinoor banerji in lieu of his medical emergency and at a time when he need the blessing and goodwill of all his friends and family.
It all started 10 days ago , Wednesday 10/17 , Mr Banerji had a unexpected transient brain stroke in his apartment . He was supposed to be travelling to Canada from St. Louis and be there on Thursday , only when he didn’t arrived home , his wife grew suspicious about his well being . With the help of Mr Banerji colleagues in st. louis they were able to find him unconscious and locked in his apartment . It saddens us to tell that he was lying unconscious alone in his apartment for over a day and cops had to break in. He was rushed to the hospital and by God’s grace he was stabilized over the next couple of days .
He was discharged on saturday 10/27 morning and he seems to be doing ok however he need a lot of attention and time to recover . it has greatly affected his memory and he seems hard to recall simple things like his cell phone number and his car , while he does remember few things very clearly. Doctor’s has deemed him unfit for air travel atleast for the next 7 - 10 days. He need to visit the hospital for medical checkup every other day .
He is still by himself in st. louis. We are in communication with his wife in canada and friends all over the world , who have send all their well wishes.
His apartment remains uninhabitable due to sanitary reasons and he is staying with one of our friend. We plan to do the necessary cleaning and he will be back to his apartment soon . his cell phone is out of service and should be back in service soon. We will be providing him home cook food .
We strongly feel he will need a lot of care and personal attention over the next couple of days before he is fit to travel to canada , someone to care for him , someone who can take him for his medical checkup.
We expect that with the generous donation from all his well wisher we can cover for this expenses and able to provide nursing care at this apartment.
We all can come together to be his strength.
