My name is Leah Saunders, and I am writing on behalf of a dear friend of mine Tracy Ellyn, who so desperately needs our help!
Tracy adopted beautiful Sky shortly after the tragic loss of her son. This puppy has filled a deep void for her. Sky has brought her warmth on her darkest of days and has continued to be the one of brightest light in her life.
Sky is now a happy 10 month old puppy and needs a liver shunt surgery (common in small pups) as well as needs to be neutered. It is not feasible for Tracy to provide the financial means needed for these surgeries and she will have no other choice to place Sky up for adoption.
The chance that someone will adopt a sick puppy is highly unlikely.
Tracy wants nothing more than to give him a healthy long life.
After getting prices from two Miami- Dade vets, Dr. Irv Lerner and Dr. Almeida , Tracy was told that the costs will be $1500 for a CT, $450 for ultrasound and $3,000 for the surgery.
As some one who knows love and loss and most importantly, the emotional importance of having the love of your fur
baby near you during these difficult times, I ask that you please donate whatever you can so we can help Tracy and Sky continue to have a beautiful, long and healthy life together.
