Little Lillie ann

Lillie-Ann was born with an undiagnosed Respiritory illness, an unsafe swallow, paralysed vocal chords and cranial nerve damage. This meant the first weeks of her life were spent fighting for it in PICU. The susequent 7 and 1/2 months Lillie was unfortunately too ill to come home. Because of her complications she had to have a tracheostomy and a gastrostomy. At 8 weeks old we were given two options, 1. Heavily sedate our daughter to put her to sleep as she'll have no quality of life or 2. Get her a Tracheostomy and hope for the best! She has been in and out of hospital each month with chest infections and to have operations and observational look downs to see if anything has changed. Lillie is now 2 and a half years old is a happy cheeky fun loving little girl, she never lets her problems get to her and her strength is unbelievable. However for us and for her future an 'undiagnosed illness' just isn't enough! We are hoping to raise enough money to get her the second opinion she deserves.
