A little over a year ago I bought my first home. I bought a house so that I would never have to make any of my 3 beautiful girls switch to another new school every time my lease would end and we'd have to move. Well, since day one it has seemed that water is the curse of this house. I just can't keep up with it anymore. 24 hours after I bought the house the water main broke in my front yard. Then practically every pipe in the house has leaked or broken since. Entire floors and walls have had to be removed and I'm unable to afford to rebuild anymore. We haven't had a shower to wash in in over 6 months!! Teaching teenage girls how to take a bath in an old claw foot was entertaining. Most recent damage is what you see here. Rain water started pouring into my kitchen from the seem where the addition meets the original home. Insurance isn't covering it all. I still have 3 other rooms gutted down to the studs from previous water damage and see no end financially to fix this by myself. I work as a part-time FF/PM at a fire house and then extra hours at a local emergency room. I am stretched so thin as it is and never have enough time for my girls on top of fixing my house. A friend suggested I try here. I have hope and prayers, now I just need a little help.
