My moms story starts way back to 2006. Diagnosed at an early age with advanced diabetes, congestive heart failure, and heart disease: we feared that these ruthless diseases would take her life. Fortunately, our prayers were answered and my mother was able to go home without a considerable amount of damage to her heart or other organs. Jump 10 years ahead, everyday is a constant struggle, with her relentless bloodsugar and the exorbitant cost of healthcare and medicine, my mother has not been able to properly care for her ailing body. On Christmas Day 2015, mom was rushed to the hospital for what she felt was anxiety. She was admitted shortly after and was incubated for the first time in her life. Scared and in dismay, I sat patiently by her side with close friends and family praying for a speedy recovery. Yet again, she was sent home with a long list of medications and a hopeful life ahead of her. 8 hours after her discharge she was rushed back to the er for shortness of breath. When I arrived to the hospital I found my mom intubated and blue from the lack of oxygen. Her situation now is unknown and there is a great deal of fluid in her lungs and now she is fully dependent on the respirator. A catherization follows (depending on her condition) to see if and what surgery will help her come home healthy.

For anyone who knows my mom, she is the most wonderful, loving person that God has ever created. She is a talented hairdresser who, just recently, opened up her own salon. She depends solely on her body to support herself and with her condition she is unable to work and therefore unable to pay her bills including those to keep her doors open at her salon.

I would like to ask for financial assistance to help me pay her bills so that when she gets better she won't have to worry and put herself back into the situation she is in.
