The Hubbard Family

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am starting this fundraiser for my very dear neighbors who have found themselves in a very difficult situation.

 

The Hubbard family has been an integral part of our mountain community for the last 5 years, since they took over leadership for the Buckhorn Methodist Camp. They put their all into running the camp efficiently and creating a safe and nurturing environment for the kids who attend camp there.

 

Unfortunately decions were made outside of their control that impacted the way Austin was able to run the camp and when he brought his  issues to the conference,  the conference chose to end his employment instead of address the issues. 

 

Because the house they live in is owned by the camp and is considered part of Austin's compensation, they have told them they have 2 weeks to move. 2 WEEKS! They are a family of 5 with several animals as well, some that are farm animals. This decision was made very suddenly and my hope with this fundraiser is to give them a small cushion to pay for moving expenses, deposits and any other needs that arise as they try to figure out this awful situation.
