Larry's Medical Bills

Hello, my name is Dawn Williams and I am Larry Williams' wife. On November 6, 2022 Larry was in a traumatic accident while riding his bicycle at Core Creek Park in Middletown Township. Larry suffered life altering trauma to his spinal cord C4, C5, and C6 vertebrae that left him as a quadrapelgic in Jefferson University Hospital. We have chosen Moss Rehab for his ongoing recovery since they are some of the best in the industry with helping people to recover from spinal cord injuries. The out of pocket costs will put us in financial strain but compromising his care to a lesser qualified facility isn't an option for him. As most of you know, Larry is a very active person who never sits still, I mean that quite literally. He is always on the run whether it's visiting friends and family, sampling his favorite craft beers at local lunch spots, obsessively working on and washing his cars, taking ridiculously long car rides to enjoy the scenery, and most of all, spending lots and lots of time with his "puppies" Seamus and Storm. This has been devastating for me and our dogs who desperately want him back home. Our dogs are confused and constantly keep checking thru the window wondering when he'll come home, it's so heartbreaking to see. The holidays are coming and spending those days without Larry is going to be not only strange but incredibly lonely. Our favorite Christmas activity is buying our dogs 20 toys each and then watching them tear each individually wrapped toy open on Christmas morning just to spend the rest of the afternoon cleaning up the mess. This year, sadly, things will be much different for all of us.
