Ya'll, I am so ridiculously proud of my mom. The past 7 years, she has completely changed her life- from going back to work after being a stay at home mom for 30 years (and raising 4 somewhat normal children), and rebounding from a nasty divorce that completely changed her world. The very, VERY last thing I want for her is to drown herself in debt right when she's gotten back on her feet. As a daughter, and now as a mother to my own somewhat normal child, I feel so grateful for her and everything she has done for me. I want to help any way I can.
My amazing mother is fighting a second round of breast cancer.
This time, she and her medical team have opted for a full double mastectomy and breast replacement. Unfortunately, they are asking for quiet a chunk of change up front before her surgery, tentatively scheduled for March 25th.
I'm hoping to raise as much as I can to take that extra pressure off her plate while she focuses on getting better. Her out of pocket max for the year is $7100 (Yay for insurance!), and of course the surgery is going to eat up that whole amount.
Literally anything will help, guys. I promise it's for a good cause.
