Marlena is known and loved for her strength not only as a woman of faith and caring for her family but also as a breast cancer survivor. There is nothing she can’t do! She and her family were driving home from church when they became victim to a car accident. Though shaken and bruised, Jimmy and their son — escaped serious injury thanks to their seatbelts and the quick response of emergency services. However, the car struck Marlena’s side and left her still in the hospital with various injuries including but not limited to multiple cracked spinal disks, broken ribs, a broken foot, burns from the seatbelt, whip lash and concussion. The accident left their truck totaled and leaves us all remembering how precious and fragile life can be. I am asking that we all come together to help them through this time as dealing with insurance can be tedious.
