We are reaching out to you all on behalf of Lisa Christensen.

Lisa is someone we all know and love....

What you may not know is that Lisa's life was turned upside down last year about this time when Lisa was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma Cancer.

Ever since, Lisa has taken the long journey to beat Melanoma.

Her cancer fight has taken her/us to the Huntsman Cancer Institute where Lisa underwent a very arduous 5-hour surgery to remove a large part of her lower calf as well as numerous cancerous lymph nodes from her calf to above her abdomen.

The healing process and subsequent treatments have been both painful and heartbreaking to watch.

That said, Lisa's resilience and deep gratitude for life have been such a wonderful blessing to be a part of.

As we know, a cancer story takes many turns and has many elements that cannot be appreciated or explained in this type of forum.

Suffice it to say, it has been every emotion one can imagine and many that cannot be articulated with words.

What this cancer has also done is created a financial burden that has finally hit a point for Lisa and her family not being able to carry it alone.

Lisa's appreciation for self-sufficiency and her desire to give, not take, will make any request really hard for her.

And....

As hard as it may be to ask for help, we are at a point of needing to bring in our amazing village to ensure continued treatments and to relieve a little portion of the aforementioned burden.
