I’m excited to let you know that I will be participating in a nursing outreach program in Thailand where I will have the opportunity to provide services to communities in need.
This fall, I will be starting my senior and final year of nursing school at Walla Walla University. It has been the most challenging and rewarding period of my life to date. My passion for nursing has grown and I am excited for the year to come. I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in June 2020!
This August, I will be traveling to Thailand as part of a volunteer mission trip through Walla Walla University. I will be given the opportunity to put into practice some of the skills I have learned by working for a community health clinic, and teaching public health practices. Other volunteer projects I will be participating in include working with local farmers, teaching English to school-aged children, and working with the orphanages in the surrounding villages around Bangkok. The money raised for this trip will go towards travel accommodations and expenses such as housing .
I am reaching out to my friends and family and asking for help so that I can show love to those less fortunate in the beautiful country of Thailand.
