Some of you know me, some of you don't. Regardless, thank you for visiting my campaign!
Starting back in the beginning of November, I began to lose my hearing and also experienced extreme pain in my sinuses, throat, and ear canals. I couldn't sleep and nothing seemed to help. I finally broke down and went to the doctor, who recommended I go to an ENT specialist, who then deduced that I had a bacterial infection in my sinuses. The sinuses were swollen and weren't letting anything through; my ears were full of fluid that couldn't go anywhere, and my right eardrum had ruptured. I went on antibiotics and steroids, which helped a lot, but it's been a long road of recovery. Unfortunately, it isn't finished yet. My hearing is better, but not yet at 100%, and I caught another cold recently that set me back. I am about to go on a third round of antibiotics and have been told that it would be recommended that I undergo allergy testing to see if something is perpetuating all of this.
Unfortunately, all of this costs money, even though I do have insurance. I've been searching for work to do on the side to help pay for the bills that have come up, but I haven't been able to find anything I could do with the time and energy levels I have to work with. It's important that I keep resting so my body can heal, so whatever extra time I have goes into that.
Although I've never had an issue with anyone else utilizing crowdfunding, I never wanted to have to do it myself. I'm very independent, but even the most independent can admit they need help sometimes. I would appreciate anything you can give. Whatever money I receive will go into catching up my medical bills, including my chiropractor, as well as helping me pay for future visits and prescriptions.
