Last summer on my final day of a 5 week trip to work at Life is Hope Orphanage, a boy asked if he could have my shoes. I left those shoes with him. You would have thought that I had given him the world. This summer I will return to Haiti and I would like to take shoes to all of the children. I want to honor God by providing for the children of Life is Hope. For my senior community service project, I would like for you to join me in donating $18 to purchase a pair of shoes for each of these children. There are 180 children living in the two locations of Life is Hope Orphanage. While many may think that this is a huge undertaking, I know that God is in control. I know that together we can do this.
