PLEASE help me with my fight against cancer

Hello, My name is Evelyn Escobar, and I am a wife, a stepmom of my beautiful twins of 20 years of age and a mother to two beautiful daughters, aged 17 and 11. Today, I find myself in the difficult position of asking for your help. On January 12, 2024, I was diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer. Over the past year, I have undergone seven different chemotherapy treatments, which have only managed to slow the tumor’s aggressive spread. Unfortunately, on February 20, 2025, we discovered three new lesions/tumors in my lungs, and the tumor in my liver has increased in size, with additional small lesions appearing.

There is currently no cure for my cancer. If this last available chemotherapy does not succeed in shrinking or at least preventing further spread, my chances of survival are very low.

I have been unable to work for the past 10 months, and the increasing intensity and frequency of chemotherapy, along with costly medications, have taken a severe toll—physically, emotionally, and financially. The burden has become too great for me and my family.

I am humbly asking for support through this GoFundMe to help cover:

Hola, me llamo Evelyn Escobar y soy esposa, “mama” de unas hermosas gemelas de 20 años y madre de dos hermosas hijas de 17 y 11 años. Hoy, me encuentro en la difícil situación de pedirles ayuda. El 12 de enero de 2024, me diagnosticaron cáncer de vesícula biliar en etapa 4. Durante el último año, me he sometido a siete tratamientos de quimioterapia diferentes, que solo han logrado frenar la propagación agresiva del tumor. Desafortunadamente, el 20 de febrero de 2025, descubrimos tres nuevas lesiones/tumores en mis pulmones, y el tumor en mi hígado ha aumentado de tamaño, con la aparición de pequeñas lesiones adicionales.

Actualmente no existe cura para mi cáncer. Si esta última quimioterapia disponible no logra reducir el tamaño o, al menos, prevenir una mayor propagación, mis posibilidades de supervivencia son muy bajas.

No he podido trabajar durante los últimos 10 meses, y la creciente intensidad y frecuencia de la quimioterapia, junto con los costosos medicamentos, me han afectado gravemente, física, emocional y económicamente. La carga se ha vuelto demasiado pesada para soportarla aún con el apoyo de mi familia.
