One of Nabil's greatest passions in life was a love of all-things-French. In High School, he displayed a remarkable mastery of French language and an intense love and admiration for French culture. Upon graduating from Butler High School, Nabil received the Senior Award in French Language and dreamed of honing his culinary skills with the ultimate goal of becoming a parisian chef.
This memorial fund seeks to commemorate Nabil's legacy and sustain his dream by providing a yearly scholarship to a Butler High School student interested in travel abroad in France. The yearly scholarship will be awarded to one student with demonstrated financial need and will partially offset the costs associated with student travel to France.
100% of the proceeds from this fund will go directly toward this annual scholarship.
Nabil was twenty at the time of his untimely death and his dreams were, for the most part, unfulfilled. A donation to this fund will ensure that Nabil's dream lives on in the smiles of future Butler students who, through this found, may have the opportunity to walk the streets of Paris.
