Lauren James Memorial

Lauren James passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Port-au-Prince on January 11, 2017 doing what she loved, helping the people of Haiti. She touched the lives of thousands of people in her hometown of Charlotte, NC as well as all across the globe. She was a world traveler and made friends in every country she visited. Her love of the French language and travel abroad began at a young age when she participated in an exchange to France. So many people from across the globe have asked how to give in her memory. We are setting up this fund to eventually go towards an exchange program scholarship. At this time we have not had a chance to establish this fund. Her memorial will be held Friday, January 27th 6-8 pm at Calvary Church in Charlotte, NC. Her funeral will be held at the same church on Saturday, January 28th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, we ask that any donations be put here for a future scholarship program. Thank you for being part of this memorial and keeping Lauren's "full of life" memory ALIVE!
