Jessica's Epilepsy

Hello friends and family,
We started sharing Jessica's surgery story with you about one month ago on our CaringBridge site. You asked if their was anything you could do to help. We shared about the time off from work Chris will have to take to help Jessica recover.
Repeatedly we were asked to use a GoFundMe page. It didn't register with Jessica why people liked the GoFundMe page better than sending a check or cash. A friend shared that there is a spot to give anonymously. It all made sense.
Jessica is having a right temporal resection of the brain on September 13, 2019. She had Leukemia as a little girl and discovered scar tissue on the right side of the brain. The scarring has caused epilepsy that Jessica has battled for 28 years. The surgeon will remove 6cm or about 3 inches of Jessica's brain to try to cure the epilepsy.

We did not want to put a Goal Amount. The expenses may exceed the Goal Amount depending on Jessica's recovery time. Nothing is 100% guaranteed with surgery and recovery.
Other ways to help include child care and meals.
