Hi everyone, as most of you know we rescued pepper from the San Jose animal care center in December of last year. From the get go she was in rough shape, she was a stray covered in mange and had open blisters all over her body. It’s taken some time to recover and after a limp she has wasn’t healing. We dig deeper and found out that her acl in her left leg is torn and the other isn’t doing too great. She needs a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy on her left leg for now and is scheduled on Nov. 10th. Because she was in such rough shape we were unable to get her insurance, so we’re asking our community for help. Those who’ve met pepper know she’s the sweetest dog and deserves to live a healthy and happy life pain free.
