ftm hormone therapy

hey, my names merve im 18 and have been trying to go through the nhs to get help with hormone therapy and general help with transitioning for over a year now. this has lead to alot of dead ends which is why im now going private however its not at all affordable but is something i need to do.

the process of getting to hormone therapy isn’t particularly hard but the constant cost is a major hurdle, for example there is a start up fee plus a fee for every individual appointment and then a following monthly subscription fee.

ive been lucky enough to have my gp agree to shared care which drops some of the cost on tests and referals which im super grateful for and will hopefully make this slightly easier. however im still not going to be able to fully self fund my hormone therapy although i will be putting as much towards it as i can, im working away all summer to save aswell as running a half marathon next year to raise money towards it.
