They say in order to be the best, you have to learn from the best. Last summer, I had the pleasure of studying film as a participant in UCLA's Digital Filmmaking Summer Institute and enjoyed my first West Coast experience. This summer, I am proud to learn from the East Coast masters in the "City that never sleeps" at New York University’s (NYU) Tisch Summer High School Filmmaking Workshop. By attending this highly competitive four-week program, I will earn six college credits in preparation for my future career and also while entering my senior year of high school as both an honor roll and IB film student. I am asking for your support to raise half of my $13,000 program fees. I finished UCLA's program with an A grade and am ready to take on the rigor and challenges of this course in order to further my education and enhance my development as a future screenwriter and director. The opportunity to enter a new environment with a new group of people who are committed to the filmmaking process is once again one of the most thrilling parts about experiencing opportunities like this. My college tour of NYU Tisch in September of last year was simply amazing! New York University is known as one of the best schools in the world for film and television. Let’s make it a little better by getting me back there this summer!
