Hello everyone,

My name is Jim, and I’m reaching out because my family is facing financial pressure we simply can’t manage on our own anymore. Asking for help is extremely hard for us, but we’ve reached a point where we have to—for our home, and for our kids.

My wife, Jordan, and I both work. I put in 40 hours a week, and she’s working around 30 hours after picking up extra shifts beyond weekends. Even so, our paychecks disappear immediately. Every month we’re trying to juggle rising expenses, unexpected costs, and debt that keeps growing no matter how hard we try.

In December, our mortgage goes up to $1,582 due to insurance increases. Our electric bill is around $200 a month, and we can’t pay it in full. We’re also dealing with about $500 a month in credit card interest alone, plus medical bills—some already in collections for Jordan, and on top of that she needs desperate dental repair for her teeth!

In total, we have almost $83k in loans and bills, credit cards that keep building every month, and we can’t get ahead of them. I’ve tried shifting balances, refinancing, and cutting back everywhere we can, but it’s still not enough. We’re just trying to keep our heads above water.

All of this is happening while we’re doing our best to provide for our two kids: Wesley and Madelyn. They deserve stability, a safe home, and a childhood not shaped by financial stress. Right now, we’re terrified of slipping even further behind.

We’re asking for help to keep us afloat and pay some of these debts down—to catch up on the mortgage increase, past-due utilities, medical collections, and the growing bills and loans that are burying us. Any support, no matter the amount, would give us room to breathe and a chance to regain stability.
