Paralyzed Exercise with Quadriciser
Donation protected
My name is Jeremiah Carter. Five years ago I fell off a cliff and broke my back; sustaining a spinal cord injury at T12 that left me paralyzed from the waist down. With the help from friends, family, and colleagues in the Auburn School District, I was able to return to the classroom nine months after my injury to continue my career teaching math to my 8th grade students.
Prior to being paralyzed, I lived a healthy, active outdoor life that involved hiking, biking, and snowboarding. Living an active life with healthy exercise is challenging when living in a wheelchair. Gyms and exercise facilities are not readily equipped with wheelchair friendly, accessible equipment. The Quadriciser is a machine that exercises the muscles I can no longer move. Through a family, and former teacher connection, I have been able to use a Quadriciser during the past five years. The Quadriciser I have been using is now being sold. I have the opportunity to buy this Quadriciser for $6,000. This is a great deal considering that Quadricisers sell new for $17,000-$20,000. If I do not purchase this Quadriciser, I will lose this opportunity of exercising my paralyzed legs.
