Alex was my baby and not only loved by me, but loved by many, his family, friends, teachers, anyone who he met.  I don't think any parent can prepare for what has happened to me, but unfornately on yeseterday I experienced a parents worst nightmare. On Jan. 20th Alex took his own life.  It is still hard to believe that this has happenend.  

Alex was quiet, independent and very smart. Even though he was quiet he always tried to make people laugh. He had many talents. Alex loved to write. He would  write poems, raps, and sometimes post videos to share with others. Alex also loved to dance! He could move too, and it was hard not to watch Alex and not smile. He was just that kind of kid.

As you can imagine it is a lot to process and it's hard. I did not know Alex was feeling this way and if I did I would have got him help. I don't want any other child or family to go through what we are right now. I want other kids to know if there are feeling the way Alex was to tell an adult, because there are people out there to help you. 

As a parent you never plan to bury a child, and the unexpected costs for the funeral. We are asking for you to consider a donation to help us with these costs. Any money collected will be used towards the funeral expenses and associated costs. Your consideration and any amount given would be appreicated. 

We will miss Alex. His spirit will live on and will do our best to honor your spirit in everything we do. We love you baby!
