In the memory of Gurmeet Deol

Hi my name is Balvinder Singh, I am a very close friend of Gurmeet Deol. he was a very nice and friendly person to us, he was family. Gurmeet recently passed away on January 2, 2023, in Salina, KS — On January 2, 2023, 36-year-old Gurmeet Deol died in a single-vehicle 18-wheeler accident on State Highway 143 near Salina. Authorities say the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of SH 143 and Old 81 Highway, north of town. Preliminary investigation suggests Deol was driving a Freightliner semi-truck east on Kansas 143. The truck ran off the edge of the road and passed through the "T" intersection with Old 81, then vaulted into the east ditch on the other side. Deol, reportedly wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Gurmeet's wife was extremely saddened by the news, they were both expecting a baby in March, which is a huge loss to their family. That's why we want to raise as much money as we can to help her.

Gurmeet is the primary bread earner for the family, supporting their elderly parents in Punjab, India. He migrated to the United States to make his life better and provided income to his family in Punjab as well. His family has been traumatized by his loss. The money we raise through this fundraiser wouldn't be able to give them back their son but it will help them get through this tragedy and support the family.
