Womens March Asbury Park

It all started with a text. 3 girls decided they wanted to gather their friends and march in Asbury Park because they couldn't make it to DC. The event was put up on private Facebook pages and went viral. A small walk of 100 is now at 1300 and growing. Now that the march has grown, so has the cost of the event. Please do not get angry with the city. These things simply cost money. Here are the fees: Police $1575 Street closing. $1500 Park fees $800 Sound equipment/staff/stage/unexpected $1000 We would like to raise $5000. We already have donors ready to help support this important historic march. If you can spare even $1 if will help. It is not mandatory to march just helpful if you can swing it. This march is organized by woman. Women's rights and respect for women are of course at the forefront of this event however the march is to express concern for all of humanity. The march is about what we stand for. The march is about standing together. The march is about being heard.
