My name is Maria Augusta Righi Campos (Guta) and with the permission of Mario Sergio Oliveira’s family, I created this fundraising page. Together with friends we are raising money to help him with his medical costs due to sudden stroke on last Sunday. Follow is the message from his daughter Babi : “ Dear friends, as many of you should know, my parents came to Sydney to spend some time here by my side. It was a year and eight months of great joy, love and complicity. The happiest period of my life. The fate made it only 3 days before they return back to Brazil and my father suffered a stroke. From day to night my world turned up side down. He was able to respond well to the surgery for the removal of the clot that was installed in his brain, but some sequels appeared. He can not speak or move the right part of his body, but doctors believe that it can be reversed. But for this it will be necessary that he spend some time in the hospital to receive all this assistance. My parents had no health or travel insurance this time they were here. So all this treatment had cost them dearly. As his situation is still very serious, he will not be able to fly to Brazil at this time to be treated. That is why I am asking for any contribution of you, so that he can continue receiving this treatment and get out of it as soon as possible. Any help will be welcome. Queridos amigos, como muitos de vcs devem saber, meus pais vieram pra Sydney para passar um tempo aqui do meu lado. Foram 1 ano e oito meses de muita alegria, amor e cumplicidade. O período mais feliz da minha vida. Quis o destino que 3 dias antes deles embarcarem de volta para o Brasil meu pai acabasse sofrendo um derrame. (AVC)
Do dia pra noite meu mundo virou de ponta cabeça.
Ele conseguiu responder bem à cirurgia para a retirada do coágulo que estava instalado no seu cérebro mas alguma sequelas apareceram.
Ele não consegue falar nem mexer a parte direita do seu corpo mas os médicos acreditam que isso possa ser revertido.
Mas pra isso será necessário que ele permaneça algum tempo internado no hospital para receber toda esta assistência.
Meus pais não tinham nenhum seguro saúde ou viagem neste tempo que eles estiveram aqui. Então todo este tratamento custará muito caro pra eles.
Como a situação dele ainda é muito grave, ele não poderá voar pro Brasil neste momento para se tratar lá.
É por isso que peço a contribuição de vcs, por menor que seja, para que ele possa continuar recebendo tratamento e conseguir sair dessa o mais rápido possível. Qualquer ajuda será bem vinda.
