39 Week Pregnant Waitress Needs Our Help

I normally don't post things like this, but I feel compelled to see what our community can do ❤️

I just had breakfast at Shari's in Meridian by Home Depot and I had the best service from this woman who is 39 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. She is supposed to be on maternity leave, but her husband was just laid off 2 days ago, and she's keeping it together for their family.

She looks so exhausted and defeated, but she was so kind and cheerful.

We left her a large tip in hopes it would provide a little stress relief for their family, but I think we can do more. We've all been there in one way or another, extremely pregnant or struggling or both.

I would urge you if you're hungry, go eat there and ask for her section or take extra diapers or a gift card or something if you are able and want to make a big difference in someone's life today.

I can just tell she is one of those people who really need the help but won't ask; she'll just work until she can't.
