Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out because my mom is about to start one of the hardest fights of her life. She was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and everything has happened so fast that we’re still trying to catch our breath.
Her doctors want her to begin treatment before Christmas — six rounds of chemotherapy (one every three weeks) to shrink the tumor and kill any lingering cells. After chemo, she’ll need surgery to remove what’s left, and then radiation to make sure the cancer is gone for good.
She’s trying to stay strong, but the reality is:
Cancer doesn’t just take a toll on the body — it takes over your life.
The appointments, the travel, the time off work, the stress… it adds up so fast. And my mom has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else first. Asking for help is NOT in her nature — so I’m doing it for her.
Why I’m Asking for Help
We’re trying to cover:
• Transportation to and from chemo and scans
• Time she’ll have to take off work
• Medical bills that insurance won’t cover
• Supportive care during treatment (meals, medications, basic needs)
• Making sure she’s stable and comfortable while she fights
My mom is the heart of our family. She’s the person who shows up for everyone else — and now she’s the one who needs help.
How You Can Help
Any amount, truly ANY amount, makes a difference.
Even $5 helps take stress off her shoulders so she can focus on healing and fighting this cancer with everything she has.
If you can’t donate, please share.
Every share puts this in front of someone who might be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for caring about my mom. We’re holding onto hope, and your support means more than you know.
