Over the past 16 years, Ja Ronn Thompson has served as a leader, a role model, and a beacon of optimism for hundreds of young artists as the founder and director of the San Francisco State University (SFSU) Gospel Gators and vocal ensemble Ja Ronn & FLOW.

        A fierce advocate for education, Ja Ronn has inspired generations of college hopefuls (of ALL ages) to pursue higher education no matter what economic obstacles stand in their way.

     Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Ja Ronn knows how much he gives to help others reach their potential and actualize their dreams. Now it’s time for us to invest in his greatness.

     Ja Ronn is pursuing his Master’s degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Social Justice. We are looking to raise $16,000 by  December 1st so Ja Ronn can complete this program. Ja Ronn plans on using his degree to teach college level Communication Studies on campus and promote equality. By doing so, Ja Ronn will continue to be an example that Black lives matter and that Black minds are EXCELLENT. We need more examples like this in our community and Ja Ronn is truly putting in the work.
