A little goes a long way

I’ve been wanting to do this for quite sometime but I wasn’t sure if I should. But I am, because all I want to do is help out and I can’t on my own.
Over a year ago, my dad, Eric was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. Like anyone would be, we were all devastated. And we still are. If you know me you know that my parents mean the world to me. So to find this out is still something I don’t like to think or talk about. Since being diagnosed, my dad has lost a lot of energy due to being sick and constant new medications along with treatments. He has not been able to work because of this. His works long-term medical was for only 6 months. Soon after, they switched it to 5 years. Funny, right? My parents downsized their home so easier to maintain and afford. My parents have to drive back and forth between Terrace, BC and Prince George, BC (2.5-5hours depending on road conditions) for continuous tests, scans, treatments. The amount of time my mother misses work she makes up for it on weekends and late nights all the time. My mother, Chantal is the kindest person in the world, she really is. It is absolutely sickening to my stomach that I am unable to help my parents out like I want too. They are so giving, helping out others how ever they can. They have never once asked for any help from anyone.
All money will go towards future trips, hotels, missed work and bills.
